Holger Vanicek has developed an exhibition concept in which he places his artworks in relation to the existing museum exhibition. This is about more than just a comparative juxtaposition. Vanicek arranges his sculptures and objects between the existing exhibits, in the midst of the museum's special architecture, which is an indispensable part of the concept. Everything works with everything, in the field of tension between symbiosis and difference of the elements there is the chance of a new reading of the arrangement experienced. The intention behind this is to irritate the viewer and encourage them to take a closer look. The interplay creates dynamism, tension and depth in which the audience does not merely observe, but finds itself in the middle of a production.
