What does it mean to be “moved” by an image?

The exhibition explores the moment of immediate encounter with a photograph. At its heart is the question of why some images move us, unsettle us, or unexpectedly captivate us. Here, the photographs do not make a loud impact, but rather work through intimacy, detail, and silence. The exhibition invites visitors to question their own way of seeing and to rediscover the relationship between the image and the viewer. An exhibition that, rather than explaining, allows visitors to experience just how intensely photography can affect us.
