Aachen has 24 multi-storey car parks with 9,100 parking spaces available. The 17 multi-storey car parks run by APAG are connected to the central parking management system, and help you find a parking space on site. Alternatively, you can check current capacities before you leave for Aachen.
You can find an overview of charging stations for electric cars here.
Our tip – park & ride
There are five park & ride car parks in total beyond the environment zone. There, you can park and continue your journey to the inner city by bus. The sixth car park, the Hangeweiher car park, is located within the environmental zone, for which you need the green sticker or an exemption permit.
With the park & ride ticket, up to five people can park for 5,-€ and travel by bus directly to the centre and back.
When you park at the Jülicher Straße/Berliner Ring, Waldfriedhof (Monschauer Straße), Westfriedhof (Vaalser Straße), Hangeweiher (Hermann-Löns-Allee) or Richterich (Roermonder Straße) car parks, you receive your park & ride ticket from the bus driver. If you are using the Tivoli multi-storey car park, your parking ticket is also a bus ticket, which you must show to the bus driver. Please also note the separate park & ride entrance!
