Pontviertel (only in German)

Aachen's ”Quartier Latin” is called Pontviertel. This is where the students, who make up around a quarter of Aachen's population, meet in numerous cafés and pubs. From the market square, we'll take you along Pontstraße, one of the oldest streets in the city, past the founding house of the ”Printen” bakery Nobis and past one of the largest international newspaper museums in Europe, up to Ponttor. A detour also shows you the main building of RWTH University and the architecturally impressive SuperC.
