The guided tour through the 'Centre Charlemagne – Neues Stadtmuseum Aachen' (new city museum Aachen) and the old town offers the perfect possibility of getting to know the imperial city from the past to the present. In the Centre Charlemagne you will learn everything worth knowing about Aachen’s city history; starting with early settlements from the 5th millennium B.C. to the European city of the 20th and 21st century. During a subsequent guided tour of the old town you will experience everything close up and in addition learn interesting stories about cathedral and town hall.
