Ludwig Forum für Internationale Kunst (Guided Tour)

The Ludwig Forum Aachen is a museum for international, contemporary art. Since 1991, it has been located in the Bauhaus-style former umbrella factory, whose predecessor institute is the Neue Galerie, founded in 1970. In addition to temporary exhibitions, it presents around 6,000 square metres of exhibits from the world-famous art collection of Peter and Irene Ludwig with key works of American, European, but also Soviet, Eastern European, Cuban and Chinese art from the 1960s to today. As the parent institution of a global family of museums, the Ludwig Forum is characterised by a contemporary, interdisciplinary and diverse programme of exhibitions and events.
