At the traditional Whitsun Festival of the Selfkantbahn on Pentecost Sunday and Monday, classic cars of the rail and the street meet again. Several nostalgic trains are alternately on the two Pentecost days between the train stations Geilenkirchen-Gillrath and Gangelt-Schierwaldenrath with different vehicle combinations.

In the large exhibition hall at Schierwaldenrath train station, visitors can visit a unique collection of historical small train vehicles from all epochs of the German small railway history.
