Cornelius market
The Korneliusmarkt shines with diverse and typical architecture of the Vorsifel.
Together with Benediktusplatz, the Korneliusmarkt forms the center of Kornelimünster. The peculiarity of the architecture lies in the half-timbered and quarry stone houses, which are widespread throughout the place. Since the inde flows through the place, the inputs of the houses were built higher than usual in order to be able to protect themselves in the event of floods.

The Korneliusmarkt forms the town center of Kornelimünster. There is a parking lot in the immediate vicinity. Buses also go from downtown Aachen to Kornelimünster.
