The 470 km route between Aachen, Cologne, and Bonn features 120 castles and palaces to explore over eight stages. Two of these stages lead in and around Aachen: from Jülich to Aachen via Stolberg to Düren. 2,000 years of settlement history meet the Börden landscape, open-cast lignite mining, and artificially created river branches, followed by the idyllic Wurm Valley. A tour where the landscape is constantly changing, with beautiful castles and palaces along the way.
