Driven to the extreme. Costumes from the Aachen Theater
The exhibition opens the curtain for the usually hidden world of costumes.
Accompany the artistic and elaborate design of various costumes from the first draft to the finished stage figure and get to know the working methods of the people involved. In many cases, creative solutions are required in many cases, artistic deception meets craftsmanship: waists are cut under the needle of the tailors or bellows are pinned up, felt of metal, newly manufactured costumes to dirty rags.
