When traveling by coach, pay attention to the low emission zone - only low-emission vehicles with a green sticker or an exemption are allowed to drive into the low emission zone. You can find an overview of the environmental zone here . The badge costs between 5 and 15 euros and you can get it in person at various locations in the city and city region of Aachen or online. You can find the address of the respective issuing point and further information on the city of Aachen . If you don't have a green sticker, we recommend using the Park & Ride parking spaces. Coach parking spaces
In the summer of 2024, a new coach stop for a maximum of three coaches was set up at "Friedlandstraße 2-4" Parking is allowed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for two hours with a parking disc.
at "Karmeliterstraße 1-3" , where two coaches can only stop in time for time between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
on the "Sandkaulstraße 4-10" , at which parking with a parking disc is allowed for a maximum of 2 hours during the day (from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.). There is also a entry and exit stop on the Sandkaufstrasse.
in the parking lot on “ Wilmersdorfer Straße” . A kiosk and toilets can be found in the immediate vicinity.

During the Aachen Christmas market
During the Aachen Christmas market (November 22nd - December 23rd, 2024), Bendplatz offers free parking . Coming from the motorways, simply follow the special signs to the “Bendplatz” bus parking lot (Süsterfeldstraße). Guests can reach the Christmas market on foot or by bus shuttle . driver meeting has been set up for all bus drivers .
The walk from the Bendplatz bus parking lot to the Christmas market is approx. 1.2 km and is very well signposted. Guests will receive a city map with directions to the Aachen Christmas market free of charge on site.
A double-decker bus runs the route every 15 minutes between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. From Driescher Gässchen it is only a few minutes walk to the Christmas market. One route costs €3 per person (there and back). The provider is CityTour .
