When you arrive by car, pay attention to the low emission zone - only low-emission vehicles with a green sticker or an exemption are allowed to drive into the low emission zone. You can find an overview of the environmental zone here . The badge costs between 5 and 15 euros and you can get it in person at various locations in the city and city region of Aachen or online. You can find the address of the respective issuing point and further information on the city of Aachen . If you don't have a green sticker, we recommend using the Park & Ride parking spaces. Parking in Aachen
There are 9,100 parking spaces available in 25 parking garages . APAG's 16 parking properties are connected to the central parking guidance system and will help you find a parking space on site.

Our tip
Park & Ride
There are a total of 4 Park + Ride parking spaces . There you can park and continue to the city center with the regular bus. The 5th parking lot, the Hangeweiher parking lot, is within the environmental zone, for this you need the green badge or an exceptional permit.
ATTENTION: The Park + Ride parking lot at the Hangweiher is currently closed until the end of the outdoor pool season in September 2025.
Notes & costs
With the Park + Ride ticket, up to five people for € 5 and take the bus directly to the center and back .
If you park at the Jülich Strasse/Berliner Ring , Waldfriedhof (Monschauer Straße), Westfriedhof (Vaalser Straße) or Hangeweiher (Hermann-Löns-Allee) , you will receive the Park + Ride ticket on the bus. When using the Tivoli car park, your parking ticket acts as a bus ticket, which you have to show on the bus. Please also note the separate Park + Ride entrance!
Hangeweiher (Hermann-Löns-Allee) location cannot be used as a park + ride during the outdoor pool season (01.05 to 14.09.
