First performed in front of an audience in 1921 and has been based in the Baroque Factory since 1982. The city puppet theater is one of the most important places where Aachen's native language "Oecher Platt" is maintained. Whether it's children's plays with only a few holes, adult plays with a higher proportion or performances where only standard German is spoken, the performances are met with great enthusiasm by the audience thanks to the flair and charm of the iconic stage.
