The board represents the association and manages its business. At regular meetings, it presents, among other things, the economic and personnel planning to the Supervisory Board and reports on special events.

The supervisory board, which consists of nine members, is the supervisory body of the management board. He is responsible, among other things, for the appointment and dismissal as well as advising and discharging members of the Executive Board. In addition, the supervisory board determines the rules of procedure for the board, approves the annual financial statements and approves the association's business plan.

The advisory board includes representatives from the Aachen city administration, the spa and bathing establishments, local public transport, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the retail association, the press, the district craftsmen's association, the hotel and restaurant association, sports and the Aachen universities. These make recommendations for the decision-making of the board and the general meeting.
