It is considered the most important church treasury north of the Alps.
Their collection includes numerous sacred gold and silversmith's works such as chalices, reliquaries and altarpieces. Marvel at late antique objects and those from the Carolingian, Ottonian, Staufer and Gothic periods on around 600m².
They bear witness to the long tradition and history of the church as the burial place of Charlemagne, as a coronation and pilgrimage church. Costs: Adults €8, reduced €7
