Plan a visit

At just seven hectares in size Von-Halfern-Park is one of the smallest parks in Aachen.

Von-Halfern-Park is located on the edge of the “Öcher Bösch” and in the middle of the countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. But it is not only popular because of its beautiful view, but above all because of its unusually diverse and exotic tree population: tree of heaven is lined up here with pyramid oak and primeval sequoia. What is also unusual is what the then owner Friedrich von Halfern housed on this sloping site. In addition to a bowling alley and boccia alley, there is also said to have once been an archery spot here. Today the park invites you to have a cozy picnic with the whole family or to relax after a hike in the Aachen Forest.
