This year the Archimedian sandpit again invites small and large explorers to dig and linger. In the middle of the Katschhof shop, deck chairs to relax. In the meantime, a special construction project is being built directly on the sandpit: Children build a sustainable Tiny House during the holiday games, which creates energy using the sun. They are supported by educators as well as experts from the Bleiberger Factory and the FH Aachen.

The Archimedian sandpit can be used around the clock and a project from Future Lab Aachen .

Archimedic party on 01.08.2025:
Small children can pour concrete with the Institute for Solid Building of the RWTH itself during the day (from 3 p.m.): After a short drying time, colorful refrigerator magnets can be taken away from the raw material. The rolling school laboratory Exploregiomobil once again invites you to get to the bottom of physical phenomena and to try it out.
And for the big ones? From 5 p.m. DJ Chris Brid plays and transforms the Katschhof into a beach party - there are also delicious drinks and snacks.
