At the Aachen Cycling Summer 2024 you have the opportunity to discover the Aachen Forest with all its facets. There is a signposted circular route (20.4 km or 15.3 km) that can be followed until autumn. The leisurely ride through the Aachen city forest offers rest and relaxation for families, couples or groups of friends. Along the circular routes, various playgrounds, nature trails, reservoirs, an outdoor swimming pool and much more offer you a variety of opportunities to take a break.
Originally designed as a railway line, the Vennbahnweg became a popular cycling and hiking trail with a length of 125 kilometers. This makes it one of the longest railway cycle paths in Europe. With well-developed paths and numerous rest areas, the path is ideal for family trips , sporting challenges or relaxed walks .
The RurUfer cycle path offers you the opportunity not only to experience beauty of nature to discover historical sights The route leads through Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands via Monschau, past Düren and Jülich to Roermond. The big Aachen tour takes us over 50 kilometers through rural Aachen and the picturesque old town . It surprises with facets that sometimes even locals are not so readily aware of. The route is perfect as a sightseeing tour because it takes you past countless historical sights in the city, which you can experience up close.

On all weekends and public holidays (Good Friday to November 1st) a bicycle bus runs from Aachen to the Eifel to starting points for hiking and cycling tours in and around the national park. The bus transports passengers with and without bicycles. He carries a trailer with space for 20 bicycles.
