On permanent loan from the King Baudouin Foundation
The Belgian King Baudouin Foundation is giving the Suermondt-Ludwig Museum twelve important works from the collection of the donor couple Hanns von der Ohe and Renate Luck on permanent loan. The paintings from the 19th century introduce key representatives of Dutch and Belgian landscape and genre painting into the collection and expand the presentation of the Düsseldorf School. They also shed light on the close cultural connections between Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
The works can be seen on the second floor of the museum.
