Björn Otto broke the German record in the pole vault with 6.01 meters at the Aachen Cathedral Jumping 2012. He still holds this record even after his career ended. The meeting in Aachen is already known far beyond the city limits and attracts numerous stars of the pole vaulting scene and spectators to the Katschhof in Aachen every year.
