The target group is Aachen citizens and tourists who would like to engage with the city through drawings during their stay in Aachen. It's not about professionalism, but about exploring the city.
The Urban Sketchers meet in Aachen, draw the urban environment, enliven the space, people can be there when art is created on site. You create exchange and experience a completely new approach to the city.

The Urban Sketchers meet in Aachen, draw the urban environment, enliven the space, people can be there when art is created on site. You create exchange and experience a completely new approach to the city.
The Urban Sketchers program includes:
- Sketchwalk every Thursday from 6 p.m. in the Elisenbrunnen Rotunda (Drawing together in Aachen. No registration required. No workshop.)
- Regulars' table every 2nd Monday of the month in the Elisenbrunnen restaurant (except on public holidays)
- In between invitations from individual artists to Sketchwalk
- Tri-border meeting on May 31, 2025 and June 1, 2025 with the groups from the Netherlands (to Maastricht) and Belgium (to Liège) in the International Newspaper Museum in Aachen
- Pop-up sketch book exhibition on Saturday, July 26th, 2025 (1pm to 4pm) in Kersten's pavilion
