Ludwig Forum for International Art - Museum of the Year 2018

The Ludwig Forum for International Art Aachen is a cross-disciplinary, contemporary art institution. It is based on the collection of Peter and Irene Ludwig with key works of Pop Art, Photorealism and European art from the 1960s to the present day. The collection includes more than 3,000 works - by artists such as Duane Hanson, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Nancy Graves, Neo Rauch, Phyllida Barlow, Jenny Holzer and many others. It is the starting point for an attractive and multifaceted exhibition and event program.

There are paid parking spaces behind the museum. Various bus lines run from Aachen's old town to the Ludwig Forum. The walk from Aachen's old town takes about 20 minutes.

The Ludwig Forum is barrier-free accessible via the parking lot and the main entrance. Themed tours of all exhibitions are available upon request.
