Pure nostalgia! A ride on the historic Selfkantbahn is a pleasure for young and old.
Experience a ride on the historic Selfkantbahn. Smell the steam from the locomotive and let the wind blow around your nose! The Selfkantbahn used to connect the Selfkant region and its neighboring areas. However, with the beginning of road competition in the 1970s, the journeys were gradually canceled and a section of the route was only saved by the “Interessengemeinschaft Historischer Eisenbahnverkehr eV”. This still makes it possible to experience a ride with the historic small railway locomotives and cars.
