Aachen does not have a larger river, however, many sources, warm and cold, and accordingly many small source streams, all of which end through the city (or rather under the city) into the river of the worm. The water of the source streams is only visible in the city in a few places and therefore the importance of water for the city of Aachen is difficult to understand. The thermal water (Bad Aachen) has a high level of awareness; The many fresh water sources are less well known.
The goal is, 5th/6th on the weekend. July 2025 to publicly present as many water projects as possible at the same time. This is intended to contribute to the “variety of water visible” in Aachen.
