A cozy, somewhat aging house in Brooklyn in the 1940s: The two lovely old women Abby and Martha Brewster live here. Surrounded by their nephews Teddy and the theater critic Mortimer and their dear neighbors, they live a relaxed and quiet life.
But one day the sheet turns when the shocked Mortimer discovers the body of an older man in the window chest. At the same time, his hated sister Joanna and a certain Dr. Einstein in the Brewsters' house.
Mortimers are now completely bare. Where does the body of this poor old man come from and how can he get rid of his psychopathic sister as quickly as possible? To make matters worse, even loud police officers who are friends with his aunts appear in the house. And his fiancee Elaine just doesn't want to leave him alone ...
