Focus exhibition in the IZM library: The International Newspaper Museum is showing impressive exhibits of Jewish press history in a cabinet exhibition in the library. Over the centuries, the Jewish diaspora in Europe has developed into a diverse mix of different Jewish communities enriched by different cultural influences, which is reflected in the press landscape. Sephardic and Ashkenazi Jews, with their traditional linguistic influence in Ladino and Yiddish, respectively, contribute their part, as do many vernacular periodicals that published assimilated and secular communities in numerous countries. More than 60 exhibits from three centuries are on display.
