In this piece, Petya Alabozova gives shape to the voice of an expectant mother struggling for hope in a crumbling world. How does a woman expecting a child view this world? What kind of world will this child be born into? Wars and conflicts, an unstoppable climate change. How can one survive in this world? Anna Carlier's monologue, rich in imagery, speaks of possible futures for this child in a post-apocalyptic world and of the hope that the child may survive.
