The fabric market is a cross-facility of the Café Platform and the social therapy training facility Impulse of the regional Caritas Association Aachen-Stadt and Aachen-Land eV
to prepare the fabric market, the visitors of the Café Platform have sorted the clothes donations received weekly and equipped the emergency wardrobe of the café platform for homeless people. The unique pieces were then selected and impulse was prepared and cleaned in cooperation with the social therapy training facility. The selected items of clothing can be exchanged for a donation to the fabric market and, for example, enable the purchase of new underwear for visiting as well as leisure activities and excursions.
