When the median strip of Oppenhoffallee between Viktoriaallee and Schlossstraße transforms into a green festival mile, it's Alleenfest time again in the Frankenberger Viertel. On Saturday, August 30th, the popular street festival kicks off with an atmospheric evening starting at 6 p.m.: Neighbors, friends, and guests gather in a relaxed atmosphere with relaxed live music, good food, and cold drinks. Sunday, August 31st, is all about the colorful community. Starting at 11 a.m., clubs, initiatives, and organizations will be presenting themselves under the motto "A Quarter Presents Itself" with information booths, hands-on activities, and discussion opportunities. The traditional flea market—with lovingly curated treasures straight from residents' cellars—is open until 6 p.m. Culinary specialties and a diverse stage program will provide the best entertainment throughout the day.
