It emerged from the initiative of residents and shop holders who had the idea of ​​showing the potential the street with its shops, studios and cultural areas. What is special about the Lorraine is its wide -ranging cultural program. Music, dance, theater, performance, art, design, literature and film are brought together concentrated in one place. It is a platform and stage for the free cultural scene of Aachen and the Euregio. In addition, very good and fertile cooperation with local institutions and organizations have now emerged, which will be pursued again this year. The program is supplemented by artists from all over Germany and beyond.
