When you arrive by car, pay attention to the low emission zone - only low-emission vehicles with a green sticker or an exemption are allowed to drive into the low emission zone. You can find an overview of the environmental zone here . The badge costs between 5 and 15 euros and you can get it in person at various locations in the city and city region of Aachen or online. Parking in Aachen
There are 9,100 parking spaces available in 25 parking garages . APAG's 16 parking properties are connected to the central parking guidance system and will help you find a parking space on site.

Our tip
Park & Ride
There are a total of 4 Park + Ride parking spaces . You can park there and take the bus to the city center. The 5th parking lot, the Hangeweiher parking lot, is located within the environmental zone. For this you need the green sticker or an exemption.
Notes & costs
With the Park + Ride ticket, up to five people for €5 and take the bus directly to the center and back .
Jülicher Straße/Berliner Ring , Waldfriedhof (Monschauer Straße), Westfriedhof (Vaalser Straße) or Hangeweiher (Hermann-Löns-Allee) locations , you will receive the Park + Ride ticket on the bus. When using the Tivoli parking garage, your parking ticket acts as a bus ticket, which you must show on the bus. Please also note the separate Park + Ride entrance!
