Group exhibition in the Suermondt-Ludwig Museum

The group exhibition with young artists from Aachen, Düsseldorf and the surrounding area addresses human life as a constant 'in between' - between different rooms, times, cultures, identities and perspectives. The focus is on the transitions, gaps and voltage fields that shape human existence. Philosophical, artistic and social issues are linked: How do we deal with gaps? Are you places or uncertainty? Which creative, social and individual potentials do you contain - and where do you become a challenge?
With a selection of paintings, printing, installations, plastic objects, ceramics and textile works, the artists present Sunyoeng Kim-Heinzel, Sina Yome Link, Aylin Ismihan Kabakci, Melike Kara, Janis Löhrer, Murat önen, Eyad Sbeigh, Majd Suliman and Theresa Weber individual perspectives on that "In between" and its complexity. The work reflects the complexity of social processes, the fluidity of identity and questioning empty spaces. Participative elements invite visitors to go into various gaps, to participate in them and to allow new views of the collection.
