Special exhibition in the vault of the cathedral treasure chamber
In the large exhibition showcase in the basement of the cathedral treasure chamber, objects from the stocks are always exhibited, which are otherwise not visible. The new presentation "Treasures on Paper" makes around 50 leaves of the graphic collection visible, the peculiarity of which consists in a stately number of artistic unique pieces; Of course, many pressure graphics also affect the city, the cathedral and Charlemagne.
The supervisor of the collection, art historian Dieter Detiège, who has enriched and processed the team with his work since 2014 and has inventible and processed the neglected graphic stocks, shows a special selection with the following focus in cooperation with the colleague Katrin Heitmann:
