"Escape and international solidarity - our responsibility, answers and opportunities"
That is the motto of the 39. Aachen World Festival on June 28th, 2025. In the wide field of human migration movements, internal flight and international escape are understandable reactions to elementary threats to lifestyle, indeed life, especially of the global south. The contributions in terms of content as well as the artistic nature that determine the World Festival 2025 deal with the aspects of flight causes and flight forms as well as general international and German refugee policy.
