Be aware of the low emission zone when traveling by coach - only low-emission vehicles with a green sticker or exemption permit are allowed to enter the low emission zone. You can find an overview of the low emission zone here. The sticker costs between 5 and 15 euros and can be obtained in person at various locations in the city and city region of Aachen or online. The address of the respective issuing office and further information can be found on the website of the city of Aachen. If you do not have a green sticker, we recommend that you use the Park & Ride parking lots. All further information can be found further down on this page.

Parking facilities for coaches
Coach parking
A new coach stop for a maximum of three coaches was set up at "Friedlandstraße 2-4" in summer 2024. Parking is permitted from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for two hours with a parking disk.
There is a bus stop at "Karmeliterstraße 1-3" where two coaches can stop for a limited time between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. just to get on and off.
There are two bus stops at "Sandkaulstraße 4-10", where parking is permitted for a maximum of 2 hours during the day with a parking disk (unlimited from 6:00 pm to 9:00 am). There is also an entry and exit bus stop on Sandkaulstraße.
The parking lot on "Wilmersdorfer Straße" can accommodate 12 coaches. There is a kiosk and toilets in the immediate vicinity.

During the Aachen Christmas market
During the Aachen Christmas Market (21.11. - 23.12.2025) the Bendplatz offers free parking for all coaches. Coming from the highways, simply follow the special signs to the bus parking lot "Bendplatz" (Süsterfeldstraße). Guests can reach the Christmas market on foot or by bus shuttle. A drivers' meeting point has been set up for all bus drivers.
The walk from the Bendplatz bus parking lot to the Christmas market is approx. 1.2 km and is very well signposted. A city map with directions to the Aachen Christmas Market is available to guests free of charge on site.
A double-decker bus runs the route every 15 minutes between 10:00 and 18:00. From Driescher Gässchen it is only a few minutes' walk to the Christmas market. One way costs €3 per person (return journey). The provider is CityTour.
