All municipal museums (Centre Charlemagne, Couven Museum, International Newspaper Museum, Suermondt-Ludwig Museum, Ludwig Forum and City Hall) offer free admission for everyone up to the age of 21!
The Museumscard gives you one admission to each of the city's museums. You can get it at all Aachen museums, by telephone on +49 241 432-4922, -4923 or -4925, or by e-mail at kulturservice@mail.aachen.de. The card is valid for 6 months.
The Museumscard is available in the following variants:
- "Six for Six" admission to all municipal museums
Cost: 30€ (Reduced: 18€) - "Four for Six" admission to the Centre Charlemagne, Couven Museum, International Newspaper Museum and Aachen Town Hall
Cost: 20€ (Reduced: 12€) - "Two for Six" admission to the Couven Museum and International Newspaper Museum
Cost: 10€ (Reduced: 6€)

Discover Aachen in the footsteps of Charlemagne. At a total of 8 stations, you will gain an insight into the extensive history of Aachen and the then Emperor Charlemagne. You start your journey into the past at the Centre Charlemagne, Aachen's new city museum. The exhibition is divided into 4 eras and allows you to experience the development of the city.
