We, the aachen tourist service e.v. (ats), are the non-profit tourism organization recognized by the City of Aachen.

The Executive Board represents the association and manages its business. It presents the financial and personnel planning to the Supervisory Board at regular meetings and reports on special events.

The Supervisory Board, which consists of nine members, is the supervisory body of the Management Board. Among other things, it is responsible for appointing, dismissing, advising and discharging the members of the Management Board. The Supervisory Board also determines the rules of procedure for the Executive Board, adopts the annual financial statements and approves the association's business plan.

The advisory board is made up of representatives from Aachen city council, the spa and bathing facilities, local public transport, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the retail association, the press, the district craftsmen's association, the hotel and restaurant association, sport and Aachen's universities. These make recommendations for the decision-making process of the Executive Board and the General Assembly.
