Anniversary of the Aachen Adult Education Center under the motto "80 years – a little more of us"
The diverse range of courses on offer includes events covering politics, history, culture, health, creativity, and careers. There are also numerous language courses to choose from —from foreign languages and German as a foreign language to sign language and literacy courses. The vhs Aachen college enables students to obtain school qualifications through adult education. For employees, vhs Aachen also offers a wide range of educational leave and further training courses that are individually tailored to their respective needs. The vhs observatory also invites visitors to experience the starry sky above Aachen up close.
From February 20 to April 19, 2026, an exhibition will be on display at the vhs Aachen. The exhibition highlights key developments of the past decades – from the early post-war years to the present day. Visitors can look forward to an exciting journey through 80 years of educational history!
