Franzi and Lili work at the Center for Happiness Research. Here, the two of them test, study, and experience all kinds of happiness: french fries as an appetizer—followed by chocolate pudding, a soccer ball that comes back unscathed from the thorns, a figurine in a Kinder Surprise egg. There’s loud happiness, like cheering for a goal in soccer; quiet happiness, like making paper airplanes; and random happiness, like when a bird poops right next to your head. With so many moments of happiness, Franzi and Lili eventually realize that it’s not so easy to find happiness—and to hold onto it. So the two of them keep researching. Because one thing they know for sure: being happy is awesome!
