WMC Kerkrade
The first world music competition in 1951 was the largest festival of its kind from the very beginning. A music festival lasting several weeks with more than 10,000 active musicians and unique musical diversity and quality was unparalleled then and remains so today. It has been in existence for almost 75 years and can be described as a cultural heritage that exists nowhere else.
