Öcher Osterbend
In spring, the Öcher Osterbend takes place again—the funfair in Aachen!
With cotton candy and fast-paced rides, the Öcher Bend attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors to Bendplatz every year. From roller coasters to chain carousels, there is something for everyone, making it great fun for families and more. The last day of the fair (April 20, 2026) always ends with a big fireworks display.
Tuesdays are Children's Day with costumed walking acts and many other activities!
Wednesdays are Family Day with a 50% discount on rides, shows, and amusement attractions!
On Monday, there is a low-stimulus fair for people who feel overwhelmed by too much noise and light.
Tip:
Bendtaler coins are available at the Elisenbrunnen Tourist Information Office (while stocks last)! If you buy 25 Bendtaler coins, you pay only €20 instead of €25, saving €5. Bendtaler coins are worth one euro and can be redeemed at any shop at the Bend.
