Guided tour of the Aachen Forest
Explore Aachen's City Forest with Rangers
Starting immediately, the City of Aachen is offering guided forest tours led by rangers. On these tours, you’ll learn general facts about the forest and its inhabitants. In particular, you’ll also gain insights into the history of the Aachen Forest and the challenges of managing a forest near the city that serves as a source of timber, a nature reserve, and a recreational area.
The tours last about 1.5 hours and are also designed for families with children. The trails are easy to walk on and are also suitable for all-terrain strollers.
Well-behaved dogs on a leash are allowed.
