DAS DA THEATER Aachen: A stage for stories with heart and conviction
Whether it’s in-house plays, a major summer musical on the castle stage, a theater dinner at a historic estate, or family-friendly productions at a wide variety of venues: Since 1987, DAS DA THEATER has been Aachen’s go-to destination for theater that combines lightheartedness with depth. It tackles socially relevant topics and offers food for thought, but without preaching and usually with plenty of humor. Music plays a major role at DAS DA. In the musicals, the plays of the Junges Theater, and other productions, all singing is performed live. The summer musical always features a band of professional musicians. DAS DA THEATER is located in Aachen’s Nordviertel district on the grounds of the old slaughterhouse. It is the largest professional private theater in the StädteRegion.
