The Eifelsteig begins in Kornelimünster, just outside Aachen, and takes you right across the Eifel region to Trier. Over more than 300 kilometers, you’ll experience tranquil moors, open forests, and rocky valleys. The motto “Where rock and water accompany you” aptly describes the trail’s character. Particularly impressive are the sections where the terrain constantly changes, and you can feel how nature and history intersect in this region. The trail feels like a ribbon that brings different landscapes together and gives you the space to experience the Eifel step by step.
