The Mörgens is Theater Aachen’s smallest venue and, at the same time, a place where experimentation is encouraged. With just 99 seats, it creates an intimacy that draws you right into the action. The flexible stage allows for forms of storytelling that would be nearly impossible in larger venues. Since the 2023–2024 season, the venue has positioned itself as a space for participation, where projects grow collaboratively and encounters between art and audience have ample room to unfold. Here, research, theater, and urban culture merge into an open process that sparks curiosity and broadens perspectives. Visitors to the Mörgens experience theater as a living experiment.
