Now in its second edition, the 2026 Aachen Film Festival invites you to experience the diversity of international cinema in a unique atmosphere. From September 23 to 27, the Apollo Kino will be transformed into a meeting place for filmmakers, movie enthusiasts, and culture lovers. The program features numerous short and feature-length films from various countries, world premieres, director appearances, and curated thematic sections. The festival is complemented by workshops, discussions, exhibitions, and other cultural events that foster exchange between the audience and creative professionals. The “Öcher Competition” also provides a dedicated platform for regional productions.
