NetAachen cathedral jumping
The NetAachen Domspringen is the most spectacular sporting event in Aachen's summer.
Björn Otto set a German record in the pole vault with a jump of 6.01 meters at the 2012 Aachen Domspringen. He still holds this record today, even after retiring from the sport. The meet in Aachen is well known far beyond the city limits and attracts numerous stars of the pole vaulting world and spectators to Aachen’s Katschhof every year.
