The target group are Aachen citizens and tourists who would like to explore the city through drawing during their stay in Aachen. It is not about professionalism, but about exploring the city.
The Urban Sketchers meet in Aachen, draw the urban environment, animate the space, people can be there when art is created on site. They create exchange and experience a completely new approach to the city.

The Urban Sketchers meet in Aachen, draw the urban environment, animate the space, people can be there when art is created on site. They create exchange and experience a completely new approach to the city.
The Urban Sketchers program includes:
- Sketchwalk every Thursday from 6 p.m. in the Elisenbrunnen-Rotunde (Drawing together in Aachen. No registration required. No workshop.)
- Regulars' table every 2nd Monday of the month in the Elisenbrunnen restaurant (except on public holidays)
- In between, invitations from individual artists to sketch walks
- Three-country corner meeting on 31.05.2025 and 01.06.2025 with the groups from the Netherlands (up to Maastricht) and Belgium (up to Liège) at the International Newspaper Museum in Aachen
- Pop-up sketchbook exhibition on Saturday, 26.07.2025 (1-4 pm) in the Kersten Pavilion
