Vogelsang IP - Tower ascent and panoramic view
A 360° view of the historic town of Vogelsang and the Eifel National Park!
The viewing platform of the 48 m high Vogelsang Tower offers you an impressive view over the Eifel region. It was planned as a water tower and characterizes the image of Vogelsang as a former "Ordensburg".
The tower has 177 steps. Ascent and descent take a total of 45 minutes, including a short information session by tower guides about the monument area and its current uses as well as about the National Park and the neighboring Eifel villages.
Physical fitness is required as there is no elevator.
Backpacks and bags are not permitted due to the narrow staircase. In adverse weather conditions, it may not be possible to climb the tower.
