Anna Street
Annastraße: Tradition, Old Town charm, and little surprises
Annastraße is one of the oldest streets in Aachen’s Old Town and leads you from the Grabenring to the fish market. On the right, you’ll first come across St. Anna’s Church, the city’s oldest Protestant church, before the alley widens and takes on a life of its own. Small shops and galleries define the scene, which has been shaped by the city’s evolution for centuries. As you stroll, you’ll sense how history and vibrant urban culture gently intertwine here. Every corner seems to hold a little memory, and the street invites you to discover them step by step.
